I find it funny how people draw comparisons from 2 animes made by the EXACT same company.

Also, if you’re wondering why Hare couldn’t heal herself before healing Shu; that was because her powers cannot revive the dead. Shu was on the brink of death (You know, that’s why only she looked up and not him) so if she spent time healing herself, he would have died in the process.
shu is gotta go though that kind of conditions in order for him to really decide wht he wants to do. i cant see it any other way. he nees to know the good & the bad part of taking on the burdens. altho ppl cant go though the exact same conditions but in his case. he needs it
